The Filthy ReportPosted on 22 Oct 2009
![]() I’m Filthy Josh Hammerstein and this is the Filthy Report! Last “between-show” report, I talked about some of the tag-team pairings I’d like to see in PCW, this time I thought I’d talk about some of the names I’d like to see appear in a PCW ring. PCW has a history of bringing in “name” talent for the past 7 years, including such superstars as current TNA Champion AJ Styles, former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrerro, a man who has held numerous titles around the world Ultimo Dragon, indie favorite Black Pearl, and Brian Christopher, who was in town. I own a lot of ROH DVD’s. and haven’t watched TNA in a while, so my opinions may be skewed, but these are some of the names I’d like to see come in to PCW in the future. Homicide: I loved his stuff in ROH, and even though he seemed a bit toned down in the TNA matches I’ve seen him in, I think he could have a great match in a PCW ring with someone like Antonio Scorpio Junior or Mike Angels. Motor City Machine Guns: Chris Sabin has appeared in PCW twice, and I’d love to see him again, and bring his partner this time. (Hey, it happened with Generico) In my last column, I talked about my dream team of ATM and Nate Hardy, and I would love to see what they could do in the ring with Sabin and Shelley. Roderick Strong: The master of the backbreaker would have an amazing match with Adam Knight or Robby Royce, two veterans who could really tear it up with him. Jay Lethal: I’ve seen a few of his matches with Kenny Omega in JAPW, and I’d love to see them continue their history at Dylan’s in a PCW ring. Steve Corino: He and Robby Royce have had some amazing matches in the past, and with Corino’s past comments about retirement on his blog, this is one match up I’d like to see one more time before he hangs up the boots. I’m going to create a thread in the forums as well, and whoever does the best “fantasy booking” of bringing in a name, choosing their PCW opponent and booking a storyline for them, I will give you a copy of an ROH DVD at the next show.
