Posted on 06 Nov 2009 by PCW A huge and boisterous crowd turned out to witness what most fans are calling the best show they've seen since the Back to School Bash! PCW's Hellbound at Dylans on Pembina was a terrific event that more than overcame the absences of several of PCW's top superstars. Kenny Omega, Adam Knight, Chad Tatum, Donnie Dicaprio and Antonio Scorpio Jr missed a hell of an event. "Filthy" Josh Hammerstein welcomed everyone to the show and introduced "The Illustrious" Mr Brooks. Brooks bragged about the Alliance of Defiance dominating PCW and holding two of three Championships. He said PCW Canadian Champion "Outlaw" Adam Knight was out of the country but the AOD would be expanding. First, however, he introduced the PCW Tag Team Champions, a team he described as quite simply the best tag team in North America, Team Impact. "Showtime" Robby Royce & Anderson Tyson Moore hit the ring showing off their PCW Tag Team Championship belts and 2008 Tag Team of the Year plaques. Royce reminded everyone that at the Back to School Bash, they had truly cemented their status as the best tag team on the Continent. He said they had beaten world-renowned Mixed-Matial Artists "Vicious" Donny Dicaprio, PCW Heavyweight Champion and top Ring of Honor contender Kenny Omega. They had beaten the longest reigning PCW Tag Team Champions of all time, The Suicide Kings, and they had beaten arguably the best tag team on the planet, former ROH World Tag Team Champions, El Generico & Kevin Steen. Quite simply, Royce pointed out, they had done it all as a tag team and would hold the gold forever. Mr Brooks introduced the newest member of the AOD. He said this man was a highly trained professional athlete. A man who had wrestled all over the world. He was "El Petrino", "El ladrón de Almas", "The Inter-Galactic Superstar" Kraven Sicario! Colourfully attired, Kraven entered sporting a fedora and a noticeable limp. He was warmly embraced by his new AOD comrades. Mr Brooks said it was the coup of the century signing a man of Sicario's international pedigree, but that he had suffered a knee injury while competing in Mexico and would be unable to face Mike Angels. That brought "All World" Mike Angels to the ring to a monstrous ovation. He said he had driven four long hours from Dauphin and a dreadful four long hours drive back to Dauphin after the show so he damn well expected to wrestle. He sarcastically said that if Kraven claimed he was hurt, it must be true. Angels went on to explain that when he broke into the business, it was Robby Royce who took him under his wing. Angels was the rookie member of Team Impact over a decade ago and he fondly remembered the man who engaged in bloody warfare with the likes of Paul Diamond and Steve Corino and he wanted to face "that Robby Royce". The AOD appeared to decline the challenge, explaining they had a PCW Tag Team Championship title defense later that night. But Royce broke ranks and told Angels if he wanted to face him at the top of his game, he was on. "All World" Mike Angels vs "Showtime" Robby Royce Two former PCW Heavyweight Champions squared off to kick start Hellbound and the insatiable audience was fed a heaping helping of exceptional professional wrestling. They engaged in what could be a sleeper candidate for Match of the Year, but the result was marred by a distasteful maneuver by Kraven. Suddenly shaking off his "injury", he kicked Angels in the face, allowing Royce to steal the easy pin. Winner: Robby Royce Post Match, all of AOD began putting the boots to a prone Angels. Commissioner Chris Stevens hit the ring and demanded a stop to the violence. He was clearly enraged, and said HE was the Commissioner and HE made the matches, not everyone else. He told ATM that since his partner was man enough to compete prior to their PCW Tag Team Championship match, then he too would be competing. And he expressed doubt regarding the veracity of Kraven's injury claims. Thus, he ordered Kraven to compete immediately. AOD objected, so the fiery Commissioner Stevens banned everyone from ringside. "El Pedrino", "El ladrón de Almas", "The Inter-Galactic Superstar" Kraven Sicario vs Kory Kinkade It was Kory Kinkade's first PCW appearance since suffering an embarrassing loss to Pete Chee and being forced to unmask, exposing him as "Ludicrous". But he was determined to prove he was more than meets the eye against the multi-nicknamed Kraven Sicario! Kraven continued his streak of phenomenal matches that resulted in losses as Kinkade fought like a man possessed and an irate Mike Angels interjected himself to ensure an unhappy outcome for his hated rival. Winner: Kory Kinkade Post Match, Angels battered Kraven until a still-enraged Commissioner Stevens returned to the ring. In the melee, Stevens was knocked to the canvas by a stray Angels' elbow. He quickly brushed off Angels' apology and pointed to that as an example of the out of control nature of many of the PCW Superstars. He said that under no circumstances was anyone to touch him and thus, Angels would be suspended. A bewildered Angels made it known he would be filing an appeal. More details concerning the suspension, the length of the punishment and the appeal will be revealed at PCWaction.com "Filthy" Josh Hammerstein introduced special guest "The Great Canadian Talk Show's" Marty Gold. Marty had positive things to say about the fine folks at Slam Sports, before bringing out his own special guest, the first ever PCW Heavyweight Champion, the legendary Chi Chi Cruz! Cheech entered the ring to a rousing ovation. He expressed his feelings for the late, great "Pitbull" Kerry Brown and announced that he would be teaming up with "Bad Boy" Brian Jewel to face Team Impact in the featured bout at the Kerry Brown Tribute event, Tuesday November 10th at the Marlborough Hotel. Cruz became emotional when talking about his friend Kerry and no doubt, fans will be in for a special evening next Tuesday Night. "Average" Joe Dixon vs "Money in the Bank" Anderson Tyson Moore "Average" Joe Dixon embrace the spirit of the Halloween event by entering the ring to the music of "Outlaw" Adam Knight and sporting similar leather chaps, vest and cowboy hat as the PCW Canadian Champion. The fans erupted as Dixon engaged in a picture-perfect Adam Knight impression. The intent was not all fun and games as would soon be learned. The match continued the evenings trend of fantastic contests in a classic battle of size and power versus speed and agility. The arrogant ATM may have suffered slightly without his manager Mr Brooks at ringside as he became frustrated early with his inability to put the nearly 300lb Dixon down. But the young superstar soon gained the advantage when Dixon took a bit too long climbing the ropes. ATM cut him off and climbed up to the top turnbuckle as well. The audience gasped as ATM set Dixon up for his jaw-dropping Spanish Fly. But Dixon had leverage and shoved ATM to the canvas and executed a flawless Five-Star Frog Splash for the victory! Winner: "Average" Joe Dixon Post Match: Dixon explained that he and Adam Knight had a lot in common. While Knight had gone through a half-year losing streak, Dixon hadn't lost in over a year. They were both big guys, great wrestlers and while Knight was currently the PCW Canadian Champion, after PCW's Season's Beatings, Dixon vowed to become the new Canadian Champion! Following Intermission, the dapper masked man, "Big Chee" interrupted "Filthy" Josh. He accused of Josh of being incapable of providing the necessary introduction for his new team. He addressed rumours of his identity by saying that he was not who everyone thought he was, but was, in fact, a Ugandan High Chieftain and Lord of the Ugandan FIre Dance. He had come to Canada to assemble the most sadistic, vicious, sick, twisted and demented tag team of all time and here they were...the Brothers' Chee! The Brothers' Chee vs "Remarkable" Chris Marxwell & "Enforcer" JP Kaos Pete & Pon Chee entered and many fans did not know what to make of the wild Ugandan brothers. The erupted when Chris Marxwell entered and became even more unglued when he introduced his partner, the man who coined the phrase "Walk softly and carry a big stick", "Enforcer" JP Kaos. The Double Chee's immediately revealed they had little respect for the rules as they cheated at every opportunity. Copious double team maneuvers and strikes to the eyes and groin were a major part of their offensive game plan. Marxwell was victimized for several minutes and the frustrated crowd was growing irate as Director of Authority Jay Walker did his best to keep control, though not very successfully. Marxwell fought back valiantly however and tagged in Kaos. Kaos went ballistic, dropping Chee's left and right. Marxwell leapt back in the ring to give the Masked Masters of Mayhem a taste of their own medicine. With Kaos holding Pete Chee aloft, Marxwell came off the ropes with a hard knee. But when he went after the Big Chee, the sadistic Pon Chee threw a steel chair at Kaos and kicked it into his face to score the pin. Winners: The Brothers' Chee Post Match, The Big Chee demanded they end the career of Marxwell. The dastardly duo followed orders attacking Marxwell and draping his prone body from the top turnbuckle before executing a horrific double DDT. They weren't done there. As Pon Chee held the barely conscious Marxwell up on his knees, Pete Chee smashed a pool cue across his head with suck force, pieces of wood flew all over the building. Marxwell gushed blood and was carried from the ring. He was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. An update on his condition will be posted on PCWaction.com Next up was another dose of Halloween frivolity as Director of Authority Jay Walker and his best friend forever, Scott Justice entered as Degeneration X and were, quite frankly, far more entertaining than the real thing has been of late. They ran down the usual DX speil before Walker said they had two word for the crowd..."Lance Storm!" Jay expressed his belief that Antonio Scorpio Jr would once again, not answer the challenge posed to him by Scott Justice. However, when Scorpio's music hit, the crowd went insane! But the feigned expressions of concern on the faces of Walker and Justice soon gave way to hearty laughter and the ruse was exposed. Scorpio, as Walker explained, was out of action for at least four more months due to a shattered ankle, but Walker hypothesized that they would never see him again. Scott Justice stated that he had flown all the way from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and intended to wrestle. He issued an open challenge to anyone from anywhere. The challenge was met by young SIr Bradley Charles who made his official in-ring debut. SBC was in phenomenal physical condition, sporting a ripped physique. Justice revealed that he knew who SBC was, another member of the Lance Storm Wrestling Academy. Charles told Justice he was sick of hearing back in Calgary, that Justice was bragging about being Lance Storm's top student, so he came to PCW to shut him up. "Lance Storm's Top Student" Scott Justice vs "Lance Storm's Other Top Student" Sir Bradley Charles Thought they were two recent graduates of wrestling academy and SBC was making his in-ring debut, the fans would never have known as both young superstars showed off a plethora of impressive moves and exceptional athleticism. SBC managed to fight out of the Canadian Maple Leaf once, but the second time was too much and he was forced to tap out. Winner: Scott Justice. Both men received a solid ovation from the appreciative audience and have quickly become two of the most sought after young superstars in the country. PCW Tag Team Championship Team Impact (c) vs Suicide Kings "The Illustrious" Mr Brooks led his men into battle as the Suicide Kings were accompanied by Nate Hardy's girlfriend, the lovely Lacey. Prior to bell time, the match was interrupted by "The Canadian Loose Canon" TJ Bratt! The crowd chanted his name as Bratt said he had promised at the Back to School Bash to show up at Hellbound and unveil a new protege, a man he would guide to the top of PCW. First, thought, he insisted that Commissioner Chris Stevens come to the ring. Once a confused Stevens was there, Bratt said one young Superstar impressed him more than others at the Bash, a man who took a dozen steel chair shots to the head and kept coming. The 400 lb Behemoth Sabertooth! The near-capacity crowd erupted as "Feed My Frankenstein" filled Dylans On Pembina and the Sabertooth stalked to the ring. He produced an envelope clearly marked "Contract" as Bratt reminded everyone that Sabertooth had won a Premier Rumble several months earlier to earn an open contract to face any PCW champion at any time. As the crowd chanted "Cash It In!", 'Tooth presented the contract to Commissioner Stevens. Nate Hardy interjected, saying he objected to this development on moral grounds. He pointed out that Sabertooth had been rescuing his girlfriend Lacey from harm for several months, had practically been stalking her and he worried that 'Tooth may in fact be a peeping Tom or rapist. 'Tooth made a move towards Nate who slid behind Lacey to keep his distance. Commissioner Stevens informed them all that the contract was valid and if Sabertooth and TJ Bratt wanted to challenge for the PCW Tag Team Championship, this match was now a Triple Threat. Stevens misunderstood, Bratt explained. He was retired and was now the brains behind the operation, not the man risking his brains in the ring. But he had a partner for Sabertooth, the best big man in the business, the nearly 400 lb "German Juggernaut" Moses Luke! PCW Tag Team Championship Team Impact (c) vs Suicide Kings vs Sabertooth & Moses Luke The make up of the main event had just shifted considerably with the inclusion of 800 pounds of terror. Since both "Showtime" Robby Royce and ATM had competed earlier, they were now staring at a nearly insurmountable task to successfully defend their title. But they fought with the desire of champions. As did The Suicide Kings who earned the automatic title rematch after losing the gold at the Bash in the Fatal Four Way that also included Steenerico and Kenny Omega & Donny Dicaprio. Nate & Marty had lost the PCW Tag Team Championship without actually being pinned and looked to regain their gold here. All three teams combined to bring phenomenal talent to the ring. Moses Luke moved like a man half his size. Sabertooth demonstrated frightening ferocity and power. Nate threw his body around with reckless abandon. Young Marty Labossier fought with the desire of a rookie who had a taste of gold and liked it. And the PCW Tag Team Champions continued to prove why they wre the undisputed best tag team in North America. With Team Impact in apparent control, Lacey once again interjected her self in the match, dancing provocatively to distract Royce, who reacted by kicking her in the abdomen and unleashing a sickening pile driver that saw Lacey's head bounce three feet off the canvas. She was rushed for medical attention and an update on her condition will be available at PCWaction.com With Lacey prone, Sabertooth leaped into action to prevent further injury, retrieving her from the ring and carrying her to the back. An irate Nate Hardy followed and Royce turned right into Moses Luke who nearly slammed him through the ring for the shocking pinfall victory! Winners: Moses Luke & Sabertooth Post Match: A frustrated Mr Brooks chastised his men, but when he slapped Robby Royce, the veteran superstar shoved him into the corner. ATM blindsided his partner with a superkick to the side of the head. For a moment, he appeared to consider his next move before violently attacking Royce. Yelling at him that they were "over", ATM wrapped a chain around his fist and struck Royce repeatedly, opening up a gash on his head. Brooks and ATM left together as a bloody Royce was tended to in the ring. With both men obligated to team together at the Kerry Brown Tribute show, once has to wonder how they will co-exist for their last ever match as a tag team.
