WINNIPEG, MB - Premier Championship Wrestling has announced that Internationally renowned superstars Steve Corino and Davey Richards will appear at the Eighth Anniversary Spectacular March 25th 2010, only at Dylans On Pembina!

The return of the "King of Old School" Steve Corino had been a highly anticipated expectation since his violent attack on Robby Royce at the conclusion of PCW's New Years Knockout. But the announcement concerning Davey Richards was made at the last moment of PCW's Thunderstruck event and came as a massive surprise!

PCW Heavyweight Champion and PWG World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega had successful defended his title against Kraven Sicario when he addressed the fans saying he would be choosing his own opponent for the Anniversary Show.

Omega said he wanted to face the one man he kept hearing about no matter where he travelled all over the world, the one man people said was the best wrestler alive today - Davey Richards.

A dream match of epic proportions, Richards and Omega are undoubtedly the two hottest independent superstars on the planet and well respected as the very best at what they do. They are similar in many ways, both wrestling in Japan, Ring of Honor and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla as well as a plethora of other indy promotion around the globe.

Richards has a very impressive resume. In 2006, he won the highly prestigious Super Eight Tournament. He's a two-time FIP World Heavyweight Champion, a multiple time PWG World Tag Team Champion and two-time former ROH World Tag Team Champion.

Coming off an exceptional 2009, he was named Wrestling Observer Tag Team of the Year! Now competing as a singles competitor, he is currently a semi-finalist for ROH's new World TV Championship and will be challenging the PWG World Heavyweight Champion later this month. That champion just so happens to be Kenny Omega!

Omega has blazed a phenomenal trail across the world the last several years. A WWE Developmental talent in 2006, Kenny quit the promotion and returned to PCW where he defeated multiple-time World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles in a 30 minute classic.

In March 2008, he regained the PCW Heavyweight Championship from Mike Angels and has held it ever since. He soon added the JAPW Heavyweight Champion and his success snow-balled quickly.

By 2009, he was one half the DDT (Japan) World Tag Team Champions and was signed to a contract by Ring of Honor. To close out the year, he was the prestigious BOLA Tournament, becoming the PWG World Heavyweight Champion.

In early 2010, Kenny embarked on an extended tour of Japan, appearing for DDT and making his debut with one of the largest and most famous promotions of all time - New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Omega and Richards are the two hottest, most talented and most sought-after superstars in the world. They've met before, for ROH and Omega was victorious. They'll battle again, this month over the PWG World Championship before stepping foot in a PCW ring on March 25th in what could very well be the greatest match in Canadian wrestling history!

PCW's Eighth Anniversary Spectacular is shaping up to be an epic event and an historic supershow.

The return of "Mr Wrestling" Steve Corino to finally face Robby Royce in the culmination of their nearly decade-long feud will assuredly be a heated, personal, emotional affair.

After the brutal attack at New Years Knockout, Royce had chosen to end the feud in a profoundly personal manner - a Dog Collar Chain Match. Never before has such a violent match been waged in a PCW ring.

As inextricably linked as Royce and Corino have been since 2001, they will be literally chained together at the neck on March 25th. With nowhere to go, no way to escape, no time outs, forced to battle each other head on, this Culmination of Hate promises to be an intense and passionate display of acute hostility and malevolence.

For both of these multiple time veteran champions, the shadow of the other looms large over their careers. Their ability to engage in classic contests, to raise the game of the other in pursuit of professional perfection has been well documented and proudly admitted by both.

But as much as the willingness to rise to the occasion is deeply evident every time Royce and Corino step into the ring, the emotion, fury and competitive fire that they have both repeatedly embraced has conspired to create a moment in time - a cross-road of careers, a climax of desire and yes, a culmination of hate.

All the niceties and respectful support they have shared over the past decade has given way to the interminable wanton lust to rise above and cement a legacy of excellence that can only be interred in the great stone tomb of wrestling history upon the destruction of the other.

On that fateful day, April 21 2001, Royce and Corino began a journey that would build to an epic collision of destiny and desire. On March 25th 2010, history will be made and a journey will end. One shadow will be vanquished to the darkness and one man will rise above the legacy. As the war of attrition marches towards an inevitable conclusion, the man who can keep fighting beyond the level of exhaustion, past the point of no return and who reaches to the furthest depth of their soul and embraces the violence and depravity necessary will be the one to stand victorious at the climax of the Culmination of Hate.
